Asus Transformer Prime launched in India for Rs. 49,999

Asus has finally launched the Eee Pad Transformer Prime in India. Asus announced the tablet last November. It has 10.1-inch LED backlit display that offers 178-degree viewing angle and has a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) (upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich). Asus Transformer Prime Specifications 10.1-inch (1280 x 800), LED backlit Super IPS+ Gorilla Glass display 1.3 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU and 12-core Nvidia GeForce GPU Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) 1GB RAM, 64GB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD 8MP auto focus camera with flash, f/2.4 lens and 1080p video and 1.2MP secondary camera Wi-Fi 802..11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS Micro HDMI port, SD Card reader and USB Port (dock) 25Wh battery that offers 12h runtime and 22Wh battery with mobile dock It is 8.3mm thick. It comes with a keyboard dock that has Multi-touch pad, SD Card reader and a USB port. The Asus Transformer Prime 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 49,999. There are no details about the 32GB variant.

Flipboard for iPad gets Cover Stories feature, launches a new French edition

  Flipboard app for iPad now has the Cover Stories, a new feature that was launched with the iPhone app last December. The Flipboard iPhone and iPad apps now has a French Edition that offers content from French publications, blogs and other content sources. The Cover Stories offers personal feed of the most interesting news, updates and photos being shared with you. Cover Stories learns what readers like from their interactions with news, posts and photos shared by friends and sources.Both the iPhone and the iPad app has also received new features based on reader's feedback.
