Motorola Atrix 2 is now available in India from online retailers such as Letsbuy and Saholic. The Motorola Atrix 2 has 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) display and is powered by 1 GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS (Android 4.0 ICS update in Q3 2012). It has 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash, Full HD (1080p) video recording and VGA front-facing camera for video calls. Other features are similar to the Motorola Razr that saw a price cut in India recently. Other features include, 1 GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory upto 32 GB with microSD. The connectivity features include, 3G HSDPA - 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, A-GPS. It comes with 1785 mAh battery. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos in now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro DUOS, Dual SIM Android smartphones went on pre-order in India last month. The Samsung Galaxy Y Duos has 3.14-inch touch screen display and has polished metallic casing. It is powered by 832 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is 11.98mm thin and weighs 109 g. Other features include, 3MP camera, Music Player with SoundAlive, 3.5mm Ear Jack, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, Samsung TouchWiz UI, 384MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a expandable memory up to 32GB with MicroSD. The connectivity features include, 3G (HSDPA 7.2Mbps) , Bluetooth v 3.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, aGPS. It comes with 1,300 mAh battery. Nokia Lumia 800 price drops to Rs. 23,790

Nokia Lumia 800 gets a price cut in India, and is available for Rs. 23,790. The Nokia Lumia 800 went on sale in India last December for Rs.29,999 and got a price cut of around Rs. 2,000 in January. Nokia Lumia 710 also got a price cut recently. It has a unibody design and comes with a 3.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack AMOLED display. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Scorpion CPU and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS. Other features include, 512MB RAM, 8 MP auto focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash and 720p video recording and has 16 GB Internal Memory, 3G HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, and A-GPS,  1450 mAh battery. LG Optimus L3 launching in Europe this month

LG has announced that Optimus L3 would be available in Europe starting March. LG showed off L-Style Model Design Series of smartphones before MWC. The LG Optimus L3 has 3.2-inch display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 800MHz Dual-Core Processor and has 2GB RAM, 3MP camera. It is 11.85mm thick. It has Modern Square Style and Harmonized Design Contrast with Metallic accents. Other features include, 150 MB Internal memory and 1,500 mAh battery. This would compete with Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 that was announced recently, since this has similar 800MHz Dual-Core Processor. The LG Optimus L3 would come in White, Black, Hot Pink or Blue colors and would launch in Europe in March followed by Russia and Asia. It would roll out globally after that. Panasonic ELUGA Power, new 5-inch Android smartphone is now on pre-order in UK from Clove. It has 5-inch (1280 x 720 HD) display and is powered by 1.5GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is IP57 water and dustproof similar to the ELUGA. It has 8MP auto focus camera with 1080p Full HD video recording. It offers superfast charging, 50% charge takes just 30 minutes, and 80% takes 57 minutes. It has 8GB Internal Memory with 32GB expandable memory with MicroSD, NFC support. Nokia has announced that they plan to offer Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 update for Nokia 700, 701 and 603 smart phones that came with Nokia Belle pre-installed. Nokia 808 PureView that was announced earlier this week at MWC, already comes with Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1. Nokia started rolling out Nokia Belle update forAnna devices earky last month and for the Nokia 500 mid February. Other than new features this update would offer increase in processor speed from 1GHz to 1.3GHz for Nokia 700 and 701. LG Wireless Charging Pad WCD-800 announced

LG has announced a new Wireless Charging Pad (WCD-800), successor of the Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-700) that was launched last year. The new charging pad is large to fit large phones that could be placed both in horizontal and vertical directions on the base cradle. This lets the users read messages, emails and view calls comfortably when placed in the vertical manner and they can conveniently watch TV and movies in horizontal way. This is 75.8mm in length above the bottom bracket. It useselectromagnetic induction method and is also equivalent to the electric charger and is compatible with all devices compliant with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) 's Qi standard, the global standard for wireless power.   The charging area is double the size of LG's previous wireless charger, the WCP-700. The LG Wireless Charging Pad, WCD-800 is expected to be available first in Korea followed by North America in first half of 2012. No details about the pricing yet.
