Tata DOCOMO launches new Photon Max Unlimited postpaid plan for Hyderabad customers

Tata Docomo has launched a new unlimited plan for its Photon Max customers in Hyderabad. Tata Docomo launched the Photo Max service last October which is based on Rev-B CDMA technology that promises higher speeds up to 6.2 Mbps compared to their Photon Plus service. The new post-paid plan comes with a flat bill cap of Rs 1,000 every month and has 3GB free data at up to 6.2 Mbps (downlink) and 3.6 Mbps (Uplink) speed. Post 3GB, speeds would be throttled to 153.6 Kbps. This plan is available for all Photon Max post-paid customers in Hyderabad.

Idea launches Special Holi Dhamaka Talktime Vouchers for prepaid customers in Bihar and Jharkhand

Idea cellular has launched exclusive Special Holi Dhamaka Talktime Vouchers for prepaid customers in Bihar and Jharkhand. These vouchers would offer More than Full talktime. The Rs. 222 special recharge voucher provides talktime of Rs. 225, Rs. 333 talktime voucher provides talktime of Rs 340, Rs 444 voucher provides talktime of Rs 455, voucher of Rs 555 provides talktime of Rs 570 and voucher of Rs 1000 provides talktime of Rs 1100 respectively. The new Special More than Full talktime Vouchers are available at all retail outlets, Idea Service Points and Idea Points in Bihar and Jharkhand circle.

Micromax A73, new Dual SIM Android phone branded as Superfone Buzz is now available in India from online retailer LetsBuy. It has a 3.5-inch Capacitive Touchscreen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 650 MHz processor and has 2 MP Primary Camera with LED flash, 0.3 MP Secondary Camera. The Micromax A78 Dual SIM phone in the Superfone series popped up last week with similar features but it has a QWERTY keyboard. LG Optimus Vu launched in Korea

LG has launched the Optimus Vu in Korea that was announced before the MWC. It comes with a 5-inch (1024×768 Pixels) IPS Display with 4:3 Aspect Ratio and 650 nits brightness. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon Processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Upgradeable to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich within 3 Months). It is  8.5mm thick and weighs 168g. It has 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, 1.3 Megapixel Front Facing Camera, 32GB Internal Memory, LTE, HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, T-DMB support and 2080 mAh Battery. It comes with Reobeodyum pen made ​​of rubber to take quick notes and drawing. To celebrate the launch LG offers a secondary battery and a case for the first 40,000 people (SK Telecom 20,000 people, LG U+ 20,000 people) those who purchase the Optimus Vu between March 8 and April 7. Samsung Galaxy S2 Android Ice Cream Sandwich update coming on March 15, says Samsung Israel

Samsung Israel has confirmed on their Facebook page that the Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update would be available on March 15th. This update would be available for unlocked and carrier-branded handsets in Israel. Samsung confirmed the ICS update for Galaxy S2 last November. They announced last December that the Galaxy devices would receive the Android 4.0 update in Q1 2012. The official ICS ROM for the Galaxy S2 leaked in January. There were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S2 would receive the Android 4.0 update on March 1st, but it didn't happen. Samsung has not made any other announcement on details of OS updates schedule yet as they said last December. We hope they roll out the update for worldwide markets soon. via: Android Central
